About us
SI - the Federation of Icelandic Industries lead the reorganisation of the employers organisation. Our purpose is to rationalise business, increase collaboration between employers and clarify the role of each member. SI - the Federeation of Icelandic Industries is by far the largest member organisation of The Confederation of Icelandic Employers (SA).

The Federation of Icelandic Industries was founded in the year 1993. It is the largest employers' organisation in Iceland, has nearly 1.700 member companies who are very different in terms of size and field of activity. Among industries represented are construction, manufacturing, food industry, power intensive industries, high-tech and creative industries.
The board of directors has 10 individuals from various sectors of the industries and the employees are 20.
About us
SI – The Federation of Icelandic Industries represents industry in Iceland and works to strengthen the business environment for its members. Member companies gain access to specialized services, information, advice, and collaboration opportunities with other industrial businesses, as well as support in cases of unfair treatment.

SI employs a team of specialists who handle advocacy, advice, and services for member companies across a wide range of industry sectors. The organisation's staff provide information and guidance, monitor developments in legislation and regulations affecting industry, and act as a point of contact for members with government authorities and other stakeholders, both domestically and abroad.
